Ship Collision Prevention/Analysis/Representation System

The ship collision prevention/analysis/rendering system interlocks with the ships’ maritime traffic information systems based on the patented technology called the Multiple Ship Collision Risk Identification Support System to assess collision risk for dozens of ships in real time and provides vessel operators with information on the ship at the highest risk of collision. There is a ship collision prevention system, ship collision accident analysis systems, and education/training system.

Multiple Ship Collision Prevention System

  • SW Modularization Products

Interlocks with the ships’ or VTS’ maritime traffic information systems (AIS, RADAR, ECDIS)

  • HW Products

Assesses the collision risk for dozens of ships in real time and notifies the vessel operator of the risks with colors and alarm sounds

Ship Collision Analysis and Rendering (2D/3D) System

  • Mobile system and rendering system for field support (2D/3D)
  • Workstation-type ship collision analysis and reproduction system (2D/3D)

Patented『Multiple Ship Collision Risk Identification Support System』

Concept: Real-Time Identification of Collision Risks of Multiple Ships

  • The probability of collision from various directions for each combination of dozens of ships (N ships) (nC2) is calculated to determine and provide the information on the risk of collision for each ship (naval vessel) and the one with the highest risk of collision
  • Use marine traffic information (from automatic identification system, etc.) to automatically calculate the risk of collision among dozens of ships
  • Presents the ships in the descending order of risk level for the user to grasp the information with ease
  • Automatically assesses the group of ships with the highest risk of collision and provides the results
  • Can be interlinked with multiple ship collision risk identification software, ECDIS, VTS, AIS, and radars
